Training & Placement Officer |
Training and Placement Cell in the Institute plays a vital role and is becoming a key department of the Institute. It is the backbone of any institute. Employment of the students of the college is our major concern. The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. A well organized placement cell is functioning in the Institution with a fulltime dedicated Placement Officer, who continuously monitors the employment potentials and arranges the campus interviews for the students. The Placement Officer maintains a consistent communication with the leading companies 'Nation wide' for placement of the students. The Placement Cell provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews. The college is actively organising in-campus and out-campus interviews for its students to get proper placement. The Placement Office serves to merely bridge the gap between a job -aspirant and a prospective employer.
The Placement records of our students are an indicative factor that the college is having very fruitful and meaningful relations with the industries. However, during last few years, the demand of our graduates has increased exponentially. Adequate and modern infra structural facilities have been created over the years and addition of the facility of Video-Conferencing is on the anvil. As a part of the efforts to develop and strengthen the relationship with the corporate world, SIET has delineated long-term strategy to place students in prestigious organizations. “The goal is to help to build a long – term career with leading organizations and not just place the students".
There are always some experiences in life which you cherish to remember. Some special moments on some special occasions. One engineering student would always remember the day on which he / she got his first job in life. To get more placements, the cell is arranging Training Programs right from the first year to final year with the help of reputed Private Organizations. MOU has been signed between the college and Globarena Technologies, to provide restructured Training in different areas, which should meet the requirement of the MNCs. The department will work diligently from the time trainees are accepted into a training program to find placement opportunities through mutual agreements with companies and other partners.
