The college library is located in the first floor of the main block and has a large collection of books pertaining to engineering, managament applied sciences and topics of general interest. The collection is continuously added to cater to the needs of students and teachers. The primary
Mission of the library is to support the educational programs of the institute by providing the physical and intellectual access to information.

Classsification:
The library uses the Dewey Decimal Classification for assigning subject codes to books and also uses Libsoft software package which is an integrated multi-user library management systems that supplies all in –house operations of the ibrary.The Libsoft software consists of modulesanacquisition, cataloguing, circulation,serials, OPAC etc. Bar-code bases circulations system implemented |

The institute library has an excellent collection of books, jouranals, Magazines, BIS Standards, Reports, CD-ROMs, Audio-Visual Cassets etc.,which are required for teaching,learning activities for all the disciplines. The collection of the library is as follows:

Digital Library:
A well established digital library has been set with 10 nodes with centralized internet facility with 2Mbps leased line.AICTE-INDEST Consortium and DELNET, e-journals and books can be accessed.
Institutional Membership:
We are the members for British Council Library, Bangalore and AIRC, Chennai for borrowing books and browsing information in the field of engineering and management

Library Hours:
Monday-Friday --- 8.00 A.M.to 10.00 P.M.
Saturday ----8.00 A.M.to 6.00 P.M.
Special arrangements are made to keep the library open up to 12.00 P.M.during the examinations. |
SERVICES
Rules and Regulations :
- Access to the library is restricted to students and faculty members of S.I.E.T.
- Identity card is must for library services
- Bags and personal things not allowed beyond the issue counter
- Use of mobile Phone is strictly prohibited
- Photography/Video recording is not allowed
- Keep the books in proper place.
